CARDINAL BERTONE, BAGNASCO CREATE EUCHARISTIC ISSUE

CARDINAL BERTONE, BAGNASCO CREATE EUCHARISTIC ISSUE

Since Jews do not have to convert in the present times as indicated by cardinals of the Vatican Curia, Jews could ask to receive the Eucharist at Holy Mass.

It would be contrary to Pope John Paul II’s Ecclesia di Eucarestia but then so is the new teaching: Jews no more have to convert for salvation

9. The Eucharist, as Christ's saving presence in the community of the faithful and its spiritual food, is the most precious possession which the Church can have in her journey through history. This explains the lively concern which she has always shown for the Eucharistic mystery, a concern which finds authoritative expression in the work of the Councils and the Popes. How can we not admire the doctrinal expositions of the Decrees on the Most Holy Eucharist and on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass promulgated by the Council of Trent? For centuries those Decrees guided theology and catechesis, and they are still a dogmatic reference-point for the continual renewal and growth of God's People in faith and in love for the Eucharist. In times closer to our own, three Encyclical Letters should be mentioned: the Encyclical Mirae Caritatis of Leo XIII (28 May 1902),5 the Encyclical Mediator Dei of Pius XII (20 November 1947)6 and the Encyclical Mysterium Fidei of Paul VI (3 September 1965).- Ecclesia de Eucharistia (Emphasis added)
Priests have been giving the Eucharist to non-Catholics all over the world since it is also believed that the Catholic Church has given up its ancient teaching on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Cardinal Walter Kaspar criticized Ecclesia di Eucarestia in 2003. In a front-cover report, of the magazine in 30 Giorni he said that no one believes in extra ecclesiam nulla salus . He was disappointed  this was the ecclesiology of Ecclesia di Eucarestia.

Cardinal Kaspar has written a front page article in the L’Osservatore Romano saying that Jews in the present times do not have to convert. The article was presented to the Chief Rabbi of Israel. The Israeli threat to the Vatican ended.

Cardinal Kaspar can receive the Eucharist even though it is a grave sin to reject the solemn dogma, extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Cardinals Bertone and Bagnasco also celebrate Mass as usual.

36. Keeping these invisible bonds intact is a specific moral duty incumbent upon Christians who wish to participate fully in the Eucharist by receiving the body and blood of Christ. The Apostle Paul appeals to this duty when he warns: “Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup” (1 Cor 11:28). Saint John Chrysostom, with his stirring eloquence, exhorted the faithful: “I too raise my voice, I beseech, beg and implore that no one draw near to this sacred table with a sullied and corrupt conscience. Such an act, in fact, can never be called 'communion', not even were we to touch the Lord's body a thousand times over, but 'condemnation', 'torment' and 'increase of punishment'”.

Along these same lines, the Catechism of the Catholic Church rightly stipulates that “anyone conscious of a grave sin must receive the sacrament of Reconciliation before coming to communion”.74 I therefore desire to reaffirm that in the Church there remains in force, now and in the future, the rule by which the Council of Trent gave concrete expression to the Apostle Paul's stern warning when it affirmed that, in order to receive the Eucharist in a worthy manner, “one must first confess one's sins, when one is aware of mortal sin”. Ecclesia di Eucarestia.(Emphasis added)
Assuming the cardinals have confessed their sins they still have to remove the scandal by correcting their public errors. This has not been done by them and neither the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith or any other Vatican office.

Jews who are educated and still not in the Catholic Church, even if they are Messianic Jews, are oriented to Hell (Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II). They are in grave sin. Since they know  and yet they do not enter the Mystical Body of Jesus.

20…Above all else, it must be firmly believed that “the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mk 16:16; Jn 3:5), and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door”.77 This doctrine must not be set against the universal salvific will of God (cf. 1 Tim 2:4); “it is necessary to keep these two truths together, namely, the real possibility of salvation in Christ for all mankind and the necessity of the Church for this salvation”… -Dominus Iesus (Emphasis added)

Cardinals Bertone, Bagnasco and Kaspar are now saying that Jews are in full communion with the Catholic Church. This is a contradiction of Vatican Council II (Lumen Gentium 14).

Vatican Council II Ad Gentes 7 is in accord with Ecclesia di Eucarestia when it states that everyone needs Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water for salvation i.e. everyone needs to be a Catholic to be in full communion with Jesus Christ and His Mystical Body the Catholic Church. Those who are in full communion also have Sanctifying Grace, a requirement for receiving the Eucharist. There could be exceptions-known only to God.

Educated informed Jews, millions in present times, do not have Sanctifying Grace since they know about the Catholic Church and still remain in heresy and grave sin.

36. Invisible communion, though by its nature always growing, presupposes the life of grace, by which we become “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Pet 1:4), and the practice of the virtues of faith, hope and love. Only in this way do we have true communion with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Nor is faith sufficient; we must persevere in sanctifying grace and love, remaining within the Church “bodily” as well as “in our heart”; 72 what is required, in the words of Saint Paul, is “faith working through love” (Gal 5:6).-Ecclesia di Eucarestia (Emphasis added)
Jews and other non Catholics do not have sanctifying grace which is received in general through the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.(Dominus Iesus) They are not “bodily” in the Church. Their souls are in danger of being eternally lost. It is not an act of charity by the cardinals to tell them they do not have to convert.

37. ‘…The judgment of one's state of grace obviously belongs only to the person involved, since it is a question of examining one's conscience. However, in cases of outward conduct which is seriously, clearly and steadfastly contrary to the moral norm, the Church, in her pastoral concern for the good order of the community and out of respect for the sacrament, cannot fail to feel directly involved. The Code of Canon Law refers to this situation of a manifest lack of proper moral disposition when it states that those who “obstinately persist in manifest grave sin” are not to be admitted to Eucharistic communion.-Ecclesia di Eucarestia.
Not to convert into the Catholic Church for Jews in general is a grave sin. To be informed and to still remain a Jew is a grave sin which is being committed with full knowledge.

So we now have a new Eucharistic issue created in the Catholic Church. It is an apostasy approved by the Vatican Curia cardinals. It is a sacrilege of the Eucharist. It is creating confusion with a teaching that is contrary to Dominus Iesus, the Notification of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on the book by Fr. Jacques Dupuis S.J, Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II and, the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation.
