ECUMENICAL MOOT CONCLUDES AT BASILICA OF ST.PAUL OUTSIDE THE WALL WITH ALL NON CATHOLIC PARTICIPANTS ORIENTED TO HELL

Pope Benedict XVI is to be present at the annual ecumenical meeting at the Basilica of St. Paul's Outside the Wall, according to Radio Vatican, with different Christian denominations. It is never mentioned that all these non Catholic participants are oriented to Hell according to Dominus Iesus, Redemptoris Missio, Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 9) and the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Participants include those who have visited Lourdes not too long ago and who perhaps accept the ex cathedra dogma of the Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception.

Ad Gentes 7 says those who are aware of the Catholic Church and yet do not enter (have committed a mortal sin of faith) are on the way to Hell. This includes the participants at the basilica.

Ad Gentes 7 also confirms that ‘all people’ need Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water to go to Heaven and avoid Hell. All means everyone-including protestant communities.

There could be Protestants who are in invincible ignorance. Fine. This will be judged by God.

The meeting at the basilica excludes the Jehovah’s Witnesses who also believe in Jesus and the Bible.

Catholic, Protestants and Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that it is not enough to just have faith in Jesus one also needs to enter a church or community for salvation.

They also believe that is not ‘automatic’.

One has to respond. It’s an act. It’s saying YES. Then only one can receive salvation. So just having a vague faith in Jesus is not enough.

I the Bible St. Paul told the jailer that all he needed to do was believe in Jesus and he would be saved. Just believe in Jesus was sufficient for salvation. This is true for a pagan. But if the jailer lives then needs to follow the Gospel for salvation. He needs to enter a Church. There is the moral code (Galatians) and the faith requirement

The Bible says not everyone who calls me “Lord, Lord” will enter Heaven but those who do the Will of God the Father.

The Will of God the Father is that everyone accepts Jesus as the only Saviour and enters the only Church he founded (according to the Bible), the Church which His Mystical Body (according to the Bible), the Church which he described to St. Peter as “my church”.

So those who every year participate in the same ecumenical meetings without formally entering the Catholic Church are fooling themselves.

Ecumenism is good. We all need to en united within the Catholic Church.

All.-includes our sister churches (Orthodox) and elder brothers (Jews).
