ANNOUNCEMENT SENT TO BRITISH NEWSPAPERS AND MEDIA FOR THE HOLY FATHERS VISIT

The following announcement has been sent to over 150 British newspaper contacts  and radio/TV stations.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR BRITISH NEWSPAPERS AND MEDIA DURING THE HOLY FATHERS VISIT

For public information this is an important announcement, to understand Catholics and their beliefs.

The Catholic Church teaches in Vatican Council II and an ex cathedra dogma that everyone with no exception needs to be a formal, visible member of the Catholic Church, the one true, Church of Jesus Christ to go to Heaven and avoid Hell –and there are no exceptions.

Here is the ex cathedra dogma extra eccleisam nulla salus (outside the church there is no salvation):

1. “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215). Ex cathedra.

2.“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.

3.“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedra – from the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS http://nosalvationoutsideofthecatholicchurch.blogspot.com/

It says everyone needs to be a visible member of the Catholic Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.

it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.

none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation

The same teaching is there in Vatican Council II.

Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door…-Ad Gentes 7.Vatican Council II.

The Church teaches that Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury and all non Catholic Christians are on the path to Hell unless before they die they formally enter the Mystical Body of Jesus( AG 7,UR 3).If there are exceptional cases ‘in certain circumstances’(Letter of the Holy Office 1949) it will be known only to God. De facto everyone needs to formally enter the Catholic Church. De jure there could be exceptions known only to God.

This is the centuries-old Catholic teaching, pre-Vatican Council II and post-Vatican Council II (Dominus Iesus 20, CDF, Notification, Dupuis, CCC 845 etc)

The above mentioned documents are clear in themselves however for more information contact Mr. Lionel Andrades. This advertisement/announcement is placed as a public information/education service.

ECCLESIA DEI WHY DOES THE SSPX HAVE TO ACCEPT VATICAN COUNCIL II, THE CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WHILE THE PAULIST FATHERS ARE EXEMPTED ?

According to unconfirmed reports on the Internet the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) could be exempted from formally accepting Vatican Council II however they would need to approve the Catechism of the Catholic Church to receive canonical status. Yet this provision is not there for the Paulist Fathers(founded by Isaac Hecker)  who in reality reject Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, yet in public claim otherwise. http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2010/07/ecclesia-dei-if-diocese-of.html#links

Note, the SSPX could stamp with approval Vatican Council II and the Catechism if they were both interpreted according to Tradition. The Paulist Fathers would reject that interpretation.

The Paulist Fathers would interpret Vatican Council II according to the Jewish Left. The SSPX reject it.

So the issue is not Vatican Council II and the Catechism, the issue is the interpretation.

The issue is also: what is the official doctrine of the Catholic Church?

The Servi di Maria (Servite Order) priests in Rome who offer the Novus Ordo Mass say it is not a mortal sin to give the Eucharist to men and women in short pants in Rome at Holy Mass. Is this a new doctrine?

The Dominican priests who presently are regular Confessors at St. Mary Majors Basilica in Rome say everyone needs to enter the Catholic Church except for those with the baptism of desire or blood, or who are in invincible ignorance or have a good conscience. This is a new doctrine.

On of these Dominican priests Fr. Lucas Dempsey O.P said that it was possible to say theologically everyone with no exception needs to enter the Catholic Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell (AG 7, Cantate Domino, Dominus Iesus 20, Council of Florence ex cathedra) and those who are saved through invincible ignorance (LG 16), the baptism of desire etc would be known only to God. So we have two interpretations of Vatican Council II. The second is according to Tradition and in accord with the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

So if the Paulist Fathers and the Servite Order can interpret Vatican Council II and have canonical status why not the SSPX?

If all of them can be permitted to remain in the Church with canonical status why is the SSPX not given the same privilege?

Why are there communities and religious who according to Tradition reject Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, not excommunicated, as it was done for the SSPX leadership?

The Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Bertone and the President of the Italian Bishops Conference Cardinal Bagnasco have officially stated that Jews do not have to convert in the present times for salvation. They offer Mass as usual even though they are contradicting the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and Vatican Council II (AG 7).

The Secretary of States acceptance of the secular separation of Church and State is contrary to the teachings of the popes and Councils. Jesus needs to be the centre of all political legislation. Jesus,God and Man, cannot be replaced with vague concepts of ‘the common good’.

Without demanding a Catholic government, based on the Catholic Church’s interpretation of the Gospel (with a society that is multicultural and with freedom to worship) we are permitting evil secular powers to form a pro-pagan and atheistic society.

So, if there is to be a moto proprio issued, as is being reported, then let the SSPX come into the Church with canonical status and interpret the Catechism and Vatican Council II as they wish, according to Tradition, and make this interpretation formal and available for all of us and let it be approved by the Magisterium.

Catholics like me who attend the Novus Ordo Mass, anyway, reject the Jewish Left–Paulist Fathers interpretation of Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
