Catholic schools in the USA use controversial Bearing Witness Jewish Left program

Catholic schools in the USA are using a controversial ADL program for school educators which suggests there have been recent changes in Catholic teachings on Jews and Judaism. It makes no mention of Vatican Council II indicating that Jews need to convert for salvation and that Catholics are the Chosen People of God.

According to the program Bearing Witness many of the teachings of the popes, the Bible and Jesus would be considered Anti-Semitic. Since what the ADL considers anti-Semitic today are views held by the popes, the Bible and Jesus.

Also there is no Church magisterial document which indicates that there has been recent chages in Catholic teaching on Jews and Judaism.

Catholics need to bear witness to Jesus who is the only Saviour of the world, the Promised Jewish Messiah  and, outside the Catholic Church which He founded there is no salvation.(Vatican Council II).

ADL book on Pope John Paul II does not mention Dominus Iesus and documents which indicate Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church

The ADL has published a book The Saint for Shalom-How Pope John Paul Transformed Catholic Jewish Relations. By Catholic Jewish Relations it is meant Catholic–Jewish Left relations. Since the Jewish Left rabbis and the ADL would not allow orthodox Jewish Rabbis to meet the pope.

There was a reported threat of war between Israel against th Vatican it was reported in the daily newspapers in Italy, over the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews. So the same intimidation could have been used to bring Pope John Paul to the Wailing Wall and to apologize to the Jews. The photo is prominent on the book cover.

It was this humility which also made Pope Benedict XVI be present among a contingent of members from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, at the Assisi Interfaith meeting. The pope has also paid tributes to the book by ADL and expressed kind sentiments.

The book I am sure, even though I have not read it, misses out on Pope John Paul II’s great contribution to Catholic-Jewish relations ( and not just Jewish Left ) with the publication of Dominus Iesus, which says all need to enter the Church for salvation and that other religions have errors, deficiencies and superstition.

Then Pope John Paul gave us Ecclesia di Eucharestia which showed us that the ecclesiology of the Catholic Church is still outside the church there is no salvation. Jews cannot receive the Eucharist unless they first have received the Sacraments which save, in the Catholic Church.

A valuable understanding to our relations with other religions is the Catechism of the Catholic Church of Pope John Paul II. The Catechism (CCC 846) says all need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation and that all need to enter the Church 'as through a door'.

This is just a sample of what is missing in the The Saint for Shalom and how Pope John Paul II did not change the Catholic Church’s teaching with respect to the Jews.

Jewish Left groups have been praising the exceptionally good relations between the Catholic Church and the Jewish Left over the last 43 years and the creation of the state of Israel.

Tomorrow due to unduly 'good relations' Catholics at the Good Friday service will not be able to prayer in public for the Conversion of the Jews. They are also expected to accept the Jewish understanding of history  and deny Jesus is the only Saviour of the World and Jews need to convert into the Church Jesus founded for salvation. The ADL and the Jewish Left have created anti-Semitism ,proselytism and other hate laws directed at Christians.

MEDIA DISINFORMATION ON CATHOLIC TEACHINGS THE SSPX AND VATICAN COUNCIL II

Padre Giovanni is the responsible Jesuit priest at the Jesuit Astali Refugee Centre in Rome. They have a battery of lawyers who assist refugees, including those who have been rejected for political asylum.

At times it seems the Jesuit legal system is there for only leftist social injustice issues.

See the leftist media propaganda against the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) and Vatican Council II in particular and Catholic teachings in general.

Could not some of those lawyers advocate honesty in newspaper reporting about Catholics?

There are so many claims of anti Semitism. What about anti Catholicism by institutions and media of the Jewish Left, like the ADL.

The ADL and the mainstream media in Italy repeat that the SSPX teaches that Jews need to convert for salvation and this is contrary to the ‘reforms’ of Vatican Council II. Then they repeat that the Catholic Church teaches that Jews are still the Chosen People of God.

They will never mention that Vatican Council II indicates that Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church to avoid Hell (for salvation) and Catholics are the ‘new people of God’.(AG 7,NA 4).

Couldn’t the Jesuit lawyers point this out to the media?

This is disinformation about Catholic teachings and it is ‘hate’ specifically against the SSPX.

The SSPX is affirming Traditional Catholic teaching and Vatican Council II when it says Jews need to convert for salvation.

Then the secular liberal media says that now the Church teaches that there is salvation outside the Church since a non Catholic can be saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire (LG 16).

Commonsense tells us that we do not know any case of a non Catholic saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire. So how can it be an explicit exception to AG 7 which says all need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation?

How can it be an exception to the defined dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (Cantate Domino)?

These are the falsehoods being repeated by the print media and television in Italy and it is not being checked legally.

The Vatican cannot be expected to make the clarification since they are under political pressure from Rabbi Rosen, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and the ADL and their supporters. So they have to keep silent.

Could a legal aide of the Astali Centre or another Catholic organization check the misinformation in the media point by point?

If the misinformation about the Catholic Faith is the political opinion of the Jewish Left it should be said so and it should not be claimed that this is the teaching of Vatican Council II.
