BREAKING THE COMMANDMENT OF MOSES :JEWISH LEFT -CATHOLIC DAY OF REFLECTION

The Jewish Left-Catholic Day of Reflection will be held on Jan.17 and the theme is the Sixth Commandment, Thou shalt not commit adultery. The participants are Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni, Fr.Reinhard Neudecker sj., Professor Emeritus of the Pontificio Istituto Biblico and Mons. Enrico Dal Covolo, Rector of the St.John Lateran University Rome.

Relevant to their meeting is the Commandment not to bear false witness, not to issue a false hood.

The Rabbi has issued a falsehood on Vatican Council II, perhaps unknowingly. He uses a false premise in the interpretation of the Council. So theologically the Council is modernist and a break with the past.Like the rest of the Jewish Left he cannot say that Vatican Council II is traditional and in agreement with the Society of St.Pius X (SSPX).He will not say that the Council is in agreement with the position of Catholic traditionalists on Judaism and other religions.

Instead he assumes that implicit salvation is explicit and so an exception to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. This is false. We cannot see the dead who are saved.o claim that Vatican Council II is a break with Tradition since we can see the dead saved in invincible ignorance etc is irrational. The Rabbi cannot cite any text in Vatican Council II which would indicate that the Council is a break with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. To suggest otherwise is a falsehood.
